BUSINESSiQ Editor Mike Hughes, who will host the event said: β€œThe question driving the conversation is, as the big investments land across the region, is the supply chain positioned to benefit, or still trying to keep pace?

β€œWe need to understand what is happening so we can see the jobs and career potential for the region.

β€œSo we have carefully assembled a powerful line-up of people, who can tell us of their experiences and give us guidance and an exclusive insight into the vital role played by the North East supply chain.”

Tony Hanson will also open the event in conversation with Mike.

As Durham County Council’s Corporate Director for Regeneration, Economy and Growth it is his task to deliver the council’s strategic vision over the next ten years – more and better jobs, long and independent lives and connected communities.

Together we will look at where the jobs are and what regional businesses need to do to secure a place in these supply chains before others do.
