The awards reinforce Pineβs reputation as one of the UKβs top dining destinations.
Chefs Cal Byerley and Ian Waller said: “To retain both our Michelin Star and Michelin Green Star for a fifth consecutive year is incredibly special for us.
“These awards are a reflection of the passion, skill and care shown by every member of the team, day in and day out.
“Weβre hugely grateful for the dedication that goes into every service and every plate, and this recognition feels like the icing on the cake for the collective effort that has gone into making Pine the restaurant it has become.”
A total of 20 new one-star restaurants, seven new green stars, and two new two-star awards were announced during the ceremony.
Restaurant Pine, housed in a converted cattle barn, is led by head chef Ian Waller, head sommelier Vanessa Stoltz, and co-owners Cal and SiΓ’n Byerley.
It is known for its produce-driven approach and strong focus on the surrounding landscape.
Michelin Stars are awarded based on the quality of ingredients, mastery of flavour and technique, the chefβs individual expression, value for money, and consistency.
SiΓ’n Byerley, co-owner of Restaurant Pine, said: “From the very beginning, we set out to create something meaningful, celebrating exceptional food while being mindful of our impact on the land and community around us.
“Retaining both Michelin accolades shows that our values remain at the heart of everything we do and that our commitment has only grown stronger over time.
“Itβs also incredibly encouraging to see the Northeast receiving the recognition it deserves, driven by so many talented and passionate people, and weβre proud to play a small part in helping shape the regionβs future as a dining destination.”
This yearβs Michelin Guide also included 37 Bib Gourmand restaurants, which were revealed online prior to the ceremony.
