Preston Park Museum launching La Voix exhibition in Stockton
The new exhibition at Preston Park Museum, entitled βBecoming La Voix,β will celebrate the life and career ofΒ La Voix, anΒ internationally-renowned star, who originated from Stockton-on-Tees.
The museum is due to offer the public an opportunity to view the exhibition starting Friday, February 20.
The display features a range of La Voixβs costumes, accessories, photographs, and personal memorabilia, which she has personally loaned to the museum.

These include some of her costumes from popular TV programmes such as the BBCβs Strictly Come Dancing, RuPaulβs Drag Race, and Britainβs Got Talent.
The exhibition will focus on more than just displaying costumes, with each artefact telling a story promoting self-expression, resilience, and joy.
This truly encapsulates the unique style, humour, and warmth that have allowed La Voix to gain international popularity and a myriad of fans.
Aside from the grand public unveiling on February 20, there will be an exclusive preview the day before, which willΒ include La Voix herself and Councillor Lisa Evans, the Leader of Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council.
More than just a spotlight on costumes, the βBecoming La Voixβ exhibit is an immersive, vibrant journey into the world of one of Stockton-on-Tees’s most celebrated entertainers.
The exhibition opens the door for fans and visitors alike to step into the colourful world of La Voix, appreciate her contribution to entertainment, and acknowledge her remarkable journey.
The local museum is located at Yarm Road, Stockton-on-Tees, TS18 3RH, and free parking is available.
