McDonald’s hosting Friends immersive event near Seaham
The event will take place at Cineworld in Dalton Park on Friday, February 13, one of only 12 locations across the UK to be featured.
For one day only, the cinema will be transformed into a Friends-themed fan destination, with big-screen episode screenings, an AI-powered photobooth that generates a Friends-style character t-shirt, and a free McDonaldβs meal for each guest.
The event is free to attend, though tickets are limited and must be booked in advance.
Each attendee will receive a McDonaldβs meal to enjoy during the screening, and can take home a customised t-shirt featuring their AI-generated Friends character.
The Friends-themed meal will be available from 11am on the day, with additional charges for Coca-Cola Classic and other drink upgrades.

Tickets can be booked by entering an email address, selecting a screening time, and confirming attendee details, with a maximum of four tickets per screening.
The event is a collaboration between McDonaldβs, Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, and DCM.
Copyrighted Friends merchandise and branding will be featured, with one of six collectible items included in each Friends Meal.
