A ruthless display saw the Chiefs run up a record score and send a serious message to the rest of the competition, as they scored heavily against Moana Pasifika in Hamilton on Saturday night.

The game had the potential to be season-defining for Ardie Savea and his Moana side – a win here would have completed a clean sweep of the NZ Super Rugby Pacific teams and earnt them a play-off spot – but the game swung heavily in the Chiefs favour.
