Reform congratulated for removing controversial flag
Why does the LGBTQ+ organisation think they have the right to have their flag displayed there?
Why did the previous administration even allow it, sympathetic perhaps?
A flag pertaining to supporting hospices, if there is such a one certainly, as well as the three flags that are remaining.
The organisation, of course, has every right to exist but I am always amazed at the publicity they receive, even from The Northern Echo, when they are having a march through the town.
I would have more chance of seeing a Pride march in Darlington if I didn’t know it was taking place.
I am disappointed with Reform, however, for not displaying the Ukrainian flag even though Russia wouldn’t be aware anyway – but would they?
I do agree entirely with the lengthy statement made by the Reform deputy leader of the Durham County Council, Darren Grimes, at the end of the article that the three flags flying represents all who have served the UK!
