The Studio Hair & Beauty in Bishop Auckland in Echo top 10

We’re on the lookout for your favourite hairdresser in County Durham, and thanks to your votes, we’ve narrowed it down to ten finalists. 

Over the next ten days, we’ll be speaking to the finalists to find out what being nominated means to them and why they want to win.

Today we’re speaking to The Studio Hair & Beauty in Bishop Auckland.

Clare Breckon, 38, moved into their premises in the winter of 2023 but since then their clientele has grown “bigger and bigger”.

She said: “We have a really great atmosphere at The Studio and a fantastic team – it’s a lovely little group and we’ve just recently expanded.

“We have beauticians and stylists who offer everything from microblading and more. At The Studio we really all help each other out and the clients notice how happy we are.

“When we found out we were nominated it was so lovely. Clients were tagging us and writing such lovely things about everyone.

“We hope we can win!”
