Star Wars Day 2025 celebrated at Echo 3 in Darlington

“May the 4th be with you” may officially fall on May 4, but Echo 3’s early celebration sent excitement levels into hyperspace.

On Saturday (May 3), Clarks Yard was buzzing as fans flocked to Echo 3 for their much-anticipated tribute to the galaxy far, far away.

The café brought back its iconic “blue milk” — a cotton candy-flavoured treat inspired by the legendary Bantha milk seen in the original Star Wars trilogy.

The vibrant, fruity drink has become a fan favourite, with customers queuing up in droves to get a taste of the Force.

The day was derived from word play upon the iconic Star Wars movie quote, “May the force be with you” and is marked each year by fans across the world in many ways.

Each year, Echo 3 also use the event to raise funds for charity – this year being Mac My Day and Spaniel Aid.
