Sneak peek inside new restaurant La Piazza in Yarm
Richmond restaurant firm La Piazza is gearing closer to opening its second venue, in Yarm High Streetās former Barclays Bank.Ā
Major works have been ongoing at the unit for several months, which has seen new windows and a sleek black shopfront installed.Ā
Now, bosses have shared an exciting sneak peek of the interior of the restaurant, with pictures showing the black, emerald, and gold colour scheme with plush booth seatingĀ and a long bar.
Other images show a unique wavy light fixture hanging from the ceiling as well as two other hanging light fittings near the windows and doors.Ā
The bar – while empty at the moment – also teases what draft options may be on offer, with both Birra Moretti and Heineken pumps visible behind the lit-up green and white counter.
And while an opening date for the restaurant remains unknown, La Piazza has confirmed to The Northern Echo it hopes to be open next month, with just a ālittle bit more work on the inside that needs to be completedā.
The first look inside comes days after a new La Piazza sign was installed above the entrance doors and windows, marking another step closer towards the launch.Ā
As previously reported, plans were green-lit by Stockton Council last year to change the shopfront of the site, which operated as Barclays until the bank closed in July 2023.

La Piazza, which is based on Dundas Street in Richmond, continues to boast a strong reputation for its pizza, pasta, risottos, and other dishes.Ā
