Sedgefield: Hardwick Hall Hotel hosts lakeside barbecue

Hardwick Hall Hotel in Sedgefield will host the event on Sunday, July 6, starting at 2pm.

Set in the hotel’s new lakeside marquee overlooking Hardwick Country Park, the barbecue will feature ‘signature’ burgers and a full bar.

John Adamson, owner of Hardwick Hall Hotel, said: “Using the lakeside marquee for our barbecue is not only a fantastic location but it also gives us the opportunity to show what a versatile space it is.

“Not surprisingly it’s a very popular wedding location but it’s equally impressive for anyone wanting to hold any kind of celebration or even a business meeting or event with a spectacular backdrop.”

Guests can relax in indoor or outdoor seating and are welcome to bring well-behaved dogs.

There is no charge for entry.

The lakeside marquee is available for hire from May to August each year and can hold up to 170 guests.

It features a private garden and bar.

The event also offers an opportunity to view the marquee for those considering it for weddings, parties or corporate gatherings.
