Over the next few days, we’ll be speaking to the finalists to find out what being nominated means to them and why they want to win.

Today, we speak to Rebecca Wright, owner of Rebecca Wright Hairdressing salon on Duke Street in Darlington.

Her journey in the hair industry has been nothing short of extraordinary, from becoming a young stylist to an award-winning salon owner.

She has now been in the industry for over 20 years and owned her salon for eight of those.

 “I’ve been incredibly lucky to have such an amazing journey.” She added.

“Each year has only gotten better, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the wonderful clients and opportunities that have come my way.”
