Popular dog-friendly County Durham café moves location

Sweet Things, in Consett,  is much loved for its fantastic array of cakes, lunches, and breakfasts.  So much so that its owner, Katie Peters, couldn’t fit everyone in on weekends.

The new premises were discovered whilst Katie was on a walk and came across the available unit with “the perfect location, size and views.”

The dog-friendly café also offers a ‘Doggy Menu’.  The unique touch welcomes four-legged friends with breakfasts, roast dinners with gravy, and even cakes.

The new location of the café also features their very own outside space, with some bistro sets and a few wooden picnic tables, too.
