Hartlepool Restaurant Week set to return with 24 businesses

Organised by Hartlepool Borough Council’s Economic Growth Team, the event will run from January 27 to February 2.

Participating establishments include The Place in the Park, The Intro, Black Olive, Sheesh Mahal, Dhamaka, Santonio Bar Restaurant, Hartlepool Golf Club, The Owl, Jackson’s Wharf, Casa Del Mar, The Flagship Restaurant, Menu, Gina’s Coven, Larry’s Lanes, The Spotted Cow, The Fens, The Marine Hotel, Mumbai, Dilshad, Portals, Portofino, Surfside Fish Bar and Restaurant, Blue Valentines, Lock Gates, and Wallis and Co.

Throughout the week, these venues will offer either special Hartlepool Restaurant Week menus or special dishes from their existing menus, at price points of £5, £10, £15, or £20.

To take advantage of these offers, diners simply need to visit the participating businesses and inform them of their intent to use the Hartlepool Restaurant Week offer.

In the previous Hartlepool Restaurant Week in October 2024, more than 2,200 people availed the deals on offer.

Councillor Pamela Hargreaves, chair of Hartlepool Borough Council’s Economic Growth and Regeneration Committee, said: “Hartlepool Restaurant Week is a fantastic initiative to promote the many excellent eateries that we have across the borough, and I am delighted that local businesses are so keen to get involved.

“To have so many venues confirmed is great news, and I would encourage local residents and people from further afield to make the most of the brilliant offers available.

“Whilst it is a chance to sample some delicious food, it is also an opportunity for us all to support the hospitality industry in Hartlepool, which is a key part of the local economy, providing a significant number of jobs.”
