Harrogate Food Festival 2025 line-up with MasterChef star
The festival returns to The Stray later this month and has partnered with the Yorkshire Food Guide to present eight live chef demonstrations across the weekend celebration.
The culinary line-up for the Harrogate Food and Drink Festival includes MasterChef UK contestants, executive head chefs, independent business owners, and acclaimed culinary directors.
They will be showcasing their skills on the live cookery theatre stage over the weekend-long festival, which takes place on June 28 and June 29.
On Saturday, June 28, Joe Crowe, head chef of Harrogate gastropub Threeβs A Crowd, which is endorsed by the Michelin Guide, will be kicking things off.
(Image: Harrogate Food Festival) He will be followed by Iain Wilkinson, head chef of Storehouse Kitchen in Ripon, and Steve Collinson, executive head chef of Cedar Court Hotel.
On Sunday, June 29, MasterChef quarter-finalist Owen Diaram will be taking to the stage, alongside former MasterChef UK contestant Kurtus Auty, who was the recipient of Yorkshireβs Best Young Chef Award.
The festival also features two additional live stages, running across both afternoons.
The live music stage will host various up-and-coming performers, as well as The Beatles and Elton John tribute acts, while the live entertainers stage will feature family magic shows, comedy, and performing arts.

Michael Johnston, festival director, said: “Plenty of work has gone in behind the scenes to build an entertainment lineup thatβs testament to four fantastic years on The Stray.
“Without a doubt, our fifth anniversary is going to be special.”
