Salamander Pumps wins iF Design Award 2025 for AquaScan
Salamander Pumps, based in Sunderland, has its AquaScan digital water multimeter recognised by the prestigious iF Design Award 2025.
The iF Design Awards are a ‘globally established trademark of design excellence’.
The AquaScan is a portable, handheld water measuring device with four-in-one measurement capabilities that include flow, pressure, temperature, and water hardness.
It delivers precise water insights and was launched in 2024.

The robust competition for the iF Design Awards saw a jury of 131 design professionals evaluate the innovation and design of nearly 11,000 submissions from 66 countries.
Other brands recognised at the iF Design Awards 2025 included tech giants Apple and Dell.
The success of the AquaScan is not new, having previously won the Innovation Award at the Sunderland Business Excellence Awards in November, and being recognised at the Pump Industry Awards 2025.

Salamander Pumps has widened its product offer over the last three years to provide its customers with new innovations and to achieve its expansion targets.
In addition to AquaScan, this includes the launch of water boosting products TapBoost and TankBoost.
The iF Design Awards have been run by iF International Forum Design GmbH, one of the oldest independent design institutions in the world, for more than 70 years.
