Ringtons and Lumo team up to make complimentary tea and beverage offer
As part of Random Acts of Kindness Day, the complimentary drinks will be served on all Lumo services, which runs five times daily between Edinburgh and London.
Lumo has teamed up with well-known Newcastle tea-maker Ringtons to offer the hot beverages to chilly passengers in a bid to brighten up their journey.
Random Acts of Kindness Day, which has run since 1995, is an international occasion which encourages people to, “spread love, compassion, and positivity”.

The train operator says that it has always placed a strong emphasis on supporting regional businesses, making Ringtons, one of the North East’s most beloved brands, a “natural partner”.

Both brands come together on Monday to maintain the link and to help[ keep their customers warm, with hot beverage completely on the house.
