Easington Village Post Office reopens after three weeks
The Easington Village branch, in Low Row closed on January 11 for refurbishment but reopened on Monday, February 3.
The branch now has a ‘modern look’ and will be open for 105 hours each week – seven days a week, from 6am until 9pm.

Lynne Archbold, Post Office area change manager, said: “The modernised store looks great after the big refurbishment and the daily opening from early until later is very convenient for customers.”
The Easington Village branch is one of 11,500 branches in the UK, making the Post Office the biggest retail network in the country.
The Post Office has partnered with more than 30 banks, building societies, and credit unions, meaning that 99 per cent of UK bank customers can access their accounts at their Post Office.

Cash withdrawals, deposits, and balance enquiries can be made over the counter at any Post Office.
The Post Office said that visits to its branches help drive another 400 million visitors to other shops, restaurants, and local businesses, equating to an estimated £1.1 billion in additional revenue for high street businesses.
It said that the Easington Village branch is one of 4,000 branches that are open seven days a week.
