Grandpa’s Fish Bar takes popular mobile van on the road

The Lanchester-based business, run by Rich and Aidan Weatherburn, launched its branded catering van earlier this year after a successful first year at their village shop.

The van allows the family-run chippy to take its traditional beef-dripping fish and chips to community centres, cricket clubs, pubs and special events across the region.

Bringing Lanchester’s fryers to local events

Grandpa’s Fish Bar has built a following in Lanchester for its traditional fish and chips and regularly updated menu, and says the van is designed to take that same offer to community events, pubs and sports clubs.

Residents are being encouraged to look out for the van at events through June and to check the shop’s social media channels for any late changes or extra pop-up dates.
