The Punch Bowl Inn in Marton cum Grafton is described as “rich in atmosphere, with exposed beams, open fires and a series of intimate rooms that lend themselves naturally to relaxed but refined dining”, according to a listing by Everard Cole.

Situated on Grafton Lane, the pub has played a longstanding role in village life.

It has multiple dining areas, private rooms and what is described as an “extensive commercial kitchen already in place”.

According to estate agents the pub, “offers clear potential for a chef-led concept focused on seasonal menus, local produce and modern British cooking.”

The building sits on a site of about 0.57 acres, including an enclosed beer garden and car park.

A detached function or meeting room is also included, with estate agents indicating this opens up further possibilities “for tasting events, supper clubs or food-focused private hire.”

The Punch Bowl Inn had previously been operated as a pub and restaurant. Sale of the property follows a change in direction by the current owners.
