The existing staff will remain in place, but customers can expect a revamped food and drink offering with a focus on seasonal menus and produce from Northumberlandβs farmers, fishermen, and local suppliers, according to Mr Sharp.
βWe are incredibly fortunate to be inheriting such a committed and welcoming team,β he said.

βTheir knowledge and connection with the local community are what make The Percy Arms what it is today, and we are excited to build on that together.β
A stronger seafood selection is also planned, alongside classic pub favourites.
βMenus that evolve with the seasons while remaining approachable and welcoming are our top priority,β Mr Sharp added.
The new owners are also forging closer links with nearby Fowberry Tower and Fowberry Cottage, creating a combined hospitality experience of dining and luxury accommodation.

This partnership aims to attract visitors for short breaks, celebrations, and special occasions.
Looking ahead to 2026, The Percy Arms plans an events calendar featuring themed evenings, seasonal showcases, and community gatherings.
Mr Sharp said: βOur aim is simple: to look after what works, invest carefully where it adds value, and create a place that locals are proud of and visitors seek out.β
The pub, which is dog-friendly, will remain open throughout the festive period as these changes take shape.
Further announcements are expected in the coming months.
