The Luxury Little Play Company up for sale, Newton Aycliffe
The Luxury Little Play Company opened on December 10 after two years of running private hires.
Owners Natalia, 31, and Atilla, 42, from Spennymoor, said they had always wanted to open a fullβtime centre, and since launching, the business has proved popular with local families.
However, in a post on social media last night (March 4), the owners shared the βdifficult newsβ that they are putting the cafΓ© on the market.

Their Facebook statement said: βWith a heavy heart, weβre sharing some difficult news.
βWe have made the incredibly tough decision to put our beloved play cafΓ© up for sale.
βThis little space has truly been our baby. Weβve spent a long time exploring every possible way to keep it running, but sadly weβre unable to commit the time and full attention it needs to grow into everything it deserves to be β for both us and all of you, our amazing customers.β
The centre includes soft play areas, a bubble house, bouncy castle and teepee, as well as a cafΓ© and kitchen serving hot food.

The owners stressed this wonβt be the end of the play cafΓ©, and they are now looking for someone to take over with the βdedication it needsβ.
They added: βThis hasnβt been an easy decision at all. It comes from a place of wanting the cafΓ© to continue, thrive, and reach its full potential with someone who can give it the dedication it needs.
βIf you or someone you know might be interested, please send us a message and we can arrange a meeting to go through all the details.
βTo every single person who visited, supported us, booked sessions, shared kind words, or simply walked through our doorsβ¦ you made this dream possible. You helped us create something truly special, and we will always be grateful for that.
βThis isnβt goodbye to what we built β itβs just the hope of a new chapter for it.β

The business will continue to operate as normal until the sale is agreed or until the end of the month.
Following the announcement, customers shared their support online.
One said: βI am so sorry to hear this! You will definitely be missed by many, Iβm sure. Good luck in whatever your next plans are.β
Another added: βIβm so absolutely gutted. We love your play cafΓ©, and it is going to be a big miss.
βWe will be back over the next few weeks, or every week until you close. Good luck to you both on your next venture.β
