The Eden Arms on Staindrop Road at West Auckland to reopen
The Eden Arms, on Staindrop Road in West Auckland has said it will reopen “very soon” in a post to punters.
Writing on Facebook, it said: “Weβre reopening very soon.
“Hello to you all and first of all apologies we have been a little quiet since taking over a few weeks ago but thatβs because weβve been incredibly busy behind the scenes giving your local a fresh look it deserves.
“After lots of hard work redecorating, refreshing and making some exciting upgrades, weβre getting ready to reopen very soon.
“We canβt wait to welcome everyone back and meet you all!”
The pub will open from 12pm seven days a week and will have seven large TV screens and a separate space for a dart board complete with ring light, backboard and counter.
It added: “Weβve added some great new drinks to the bar, giving you even more choice the next time you pop in.
“A refreshed look to make The Eden Arms an even better place to relax, watch sport, and enjoy time with friends.
“We are in the process of revamping our kitchen space and canβt wait to give you a sneak peak into our fantastic new menu.”
The new landlords have also said they will “work hard” to get the beer garden ready for the Fifa World Cup.
They said they’ll be large TVβs, a stage, outside bar and play area. J
An official reopening date for the pub has yet to be announced.
