Tesco brings back blue and white Value logo after 14 years
Its return marks a βsignificantβ move in the supermarketβs ongoing price battle with Aldi and will form part of a major marketing campaign focused on “symbolising value”.
The stripes were last used in 2012 and will now feature prominently in the promotion of branded products under the supermarketβs Low Everyday Prices project.

Products under the scheme include Weetabix,Β PG Tips teabags,Β Lurpak, Fairy Original washing up liquid and Heinz baked beans, to name a few.
The prices include Fairy Original at 90p for 320ml, Β£2 for a 12-pack of Weetabix, Lurpak Slightly Salted Spreadable 250g for Β£3.30 and 60p for a 150g pot of Heinz beans.
It comes as Tesco promised the costs of 3,000 branded products in the latest stage of its Low Everyday Prices venture, which has run since 2020.

The reintroduction of theΒ blue and white striped Value logo on branded productsΒ comes in addition to Tescoβs existing Aldi Price Match on more than 650 lines, and more than 10,000 lower Clubcard prices.
On its website, Tesco shares: “We match over 600 products, so you can save yourself a trip. Look out for the ‘Aldi Price Match’ bubble in-store or fill your basket online.”
Just some of the current Aldi price match items at Tesco include Tesco Light Mayonnaise 450ml (86p), Yorkshire Tea 210 Tea Bags 656g (Β£5.79), Tesco Diced Beef 400g (Β£4.49) and Hearty Food Co. Spaghetti Pasta 500g (28p).
