Tesco adds 4 new sandwiches and wraps to its Meal Deal range
Meal Deals have become a lunchtime staple in the UK, with most major supermarkets, including Tesco, Asda, and Sainsbury’s, offering their own versions.

Tesco adds 4 new items to its Meal Deal range
Tesco has now added four new “limited edition” sandwiches and wraps to its Meal Deal range.
The new additions are:
- Jamaican Style Jerk Chicken with Mango Sauce (sandwich)
- ‘Marry Me’ Chicken with Sundried Tomato and Parmesan Mayo (wrap)
- Chicken Pepperoni & BBQ Sauce with Cheddar Cheese (sandwich)
- Salt & Pepper Chicken with Roasted Peppers (wrap)
The new sandwiches and wraps have already received praise from Tesco customers on social media.
One person, commenting on a Facebook post from Newfoodsuk, said: “Marry me chicken is lush.”
Another added: “The Jamaican style jerk chicken very nice.”
A third shopper commented: “The Salt & Pepper Chicken wrap is amazing.”
Others were just excited about the prospect of trying the new Meal Deal options.
This person on Instagram posted: “OMG I canβt wait to try every single one of these! They look incredible.”
While another user wrote: “Iβm gonna have to give these a go, theyβre calling my name. My local Tesco better have them!!!”
The UK’s best-value Meal Deals
Boots has been found to have the best-value Meal Deal in the UK, according to a recent study by Making Moves.
The London office consultancy conducted a blind taste test of 2,000 office workers to conclude the UKβs most-loved and best-value meal deal retailers.
The cheapest (best-value) Meal Deals in the UK, according to Making Moves, are:
- Boots (Β£3.75)
- Sainsbury’s (Β£3.95)
- Tesco (Β£4.25)
- Co-op (Β£4.50)
- Waitrose (Β£5.00)
- Greggs (Β£5.14)

The study also found that Waitrose offers the best Meal Deal when it comes to flavour, portion size, and presentation.
Boots featured second in this category, followed by Tesco, while Co-op and Greggs ranked the lowest.
