Teesside Park giving away 400 Motherβs Day houseplants
The free plant giveaway is taking place on Friday March 13 in partnership with Nurture, a UK provider of sustainable landscape maintenance and environmental services.
To receive a plant, visitors must sign up to the Teesside Park newsletter.
The plants will be handed out in the landscaped area opposite Wagamama between 10am and 2pm.
Catherine Furlong, centre director at Teesside Park, said: “Mother’s Day is a special celebration for many of our visitors and we think itβs important to mark the occasion. This year, weβre excited to be partnering with Nurture for a lovely plant giveaway.
“It’s a small gesture that we hope brings joy and makes Motherβs Day memorable, while also spreading awareness about the importance of biodiversity in our community.β
The Nurture team will be present during the event to give plant care advice and talk to visitors about why biodiversity matters in the local area, including at the shopping centre itself.
Rob Dunn, Team Leader at Nurture, said: “We’re really pleased to be partnering with Teesside Park this Mother’s Day.
“It’s a great opportunity to connect with local people and share our passion for plants and green spaces.

“Beyond being a lovely gift, houseplants bring real benefits to our homes and wellbeing, and we’re looking forward to chatting with visitors about how they can care for their plants while learning more about the vital role biodiversity plays in our local environment.”
Plants will be available on a first come, first served basis while stocks last.
