Something Greek in Coxhoe reopens in new premises tonight

Something Greek, previously at 16 Commercial Road East in Coxhoe, confirmed on social media yesterday (April 8) that it will officially reopen from the former Danielle’s Deli unit.

The business said the move will bring improvements for customers, including a bigger space, easier access and more room for seating.

In a Facebook post, the team said: β€œAfter a long month of moving, cleaning and organising with help from The Village Tavern Coxhoe and Genio Limpia (Spanish cleaning products) we are ready to serve you all again.

β€œWe will be re-opening our doors on Thursday, April 9 at 5pm.

β€œWe will remain with our current evening menu until we finalise our breakfast menu and opening times.

β€œThank you all for your continued support, we’re super excited to be back doing what we love. Many thanks, Something Greek team.”

The team has also confirmed that the business will, for now, operate on a collection, walk-in and sit-in basis as they find their feet in the new venue.

The post added: β€œWe are also remaining with our old menu just with a change in prices, many thanks. See you tonight.”

Reflecting on their time at the previous premises, the business described it as a β€œchallenging period”, with the team dealing with issues including power cuts and last-minute fixes.

They previously said: β€œYou’ve seen us through power cuts, last-minute fixes, and a few tears along the way, it’s been a journey, to say the least.

β€œThank you for sticking with us, it truly means the world.”

Many long-standing customers have taken to social media to share their excitement about the move.

One person said: β€œGood luck guys, hope it goes well,” while another added: β€œCan’t wait to see the new place, best of luck.”

The new venue will open at 3 Blackgate East, Coxhoe, DH6 4AA.
