Something Greek in Coxhoe reopens in new premises tonight
Something Greek, previously at 16 Commercial Road East in Coxhoe, confirmed on social media yesterday (April 8) that it will officially reopen from the former Danielleβs Deli unit.
The business said the move will bring improvements for customers, including a bigger space, easier access and more room for seating.
In a Facebook post, the team said: βAfter a long month of moving, cleaning and organising with help from The Village Tavern Coxhoe and Genio Limpia (Spanish cleaning products) we are ready to serve you all again.
βWe will be re-opening our doors on Thursday, April 9 at 5pm.
βWe will remain with our current evening menu until we finalise our breakfast menu and opening times.
βThank you all for your continued support, weβre super excited to be back doing what we love. Many thanks, Something Greek team.β
The team has also confirmed that the business will, for now, operate on a collection, walk-in and sit-in basis as they find their feet in the new venue.
The post added: βWe are also remaining with our old menu just with a change in prices, many thanks. See you tonight.β
Reflecting on their time at the previous premises, the business described it as a βchallenging periodβ, with the team dealing with issues including power cuts and last-minute fixes.
They previously said: βYouβve seen us through power cuts, last-minute fixes, and a few tears along the way, itβs been a journey, to say the least.
βThank you for sticking with us, it truly means the world.β
Many long-standing customers have taken to social media to share their excitement about the move.
One person said: βGood luck guys, hope it goes well,β while another added: βCanβt wait to see the new place, best of luck.β
The new venue will open at 3 Blackgate East, Coxhoe, DH6 4AA.
