Richmond Specsavers reopens after refurb and expansion
The Richmond branch, located at 2-4 King Street, unveiled its refreshed and expanded space on December 11 after a Β£250,000 investment aimed at improving customer experience.
The relaunch was celebrated with an in-store event featuring balloons, treats, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony with special guests from Guide Dogs.

Priya Aggarwal, optometrist director at Specsavers Richmond, said: “We are delighted to have invested into Richmond’s High Street and we’re so proud to finally reveal the results of all our planning and hard work.
“It represents our dedication to putting customers first, not just through providing excellent care, but by creating a welcoming and modern space that better meets their needs.
“It was a privilege to celebrate this milestone with the community, and it was lovely to see so many people popping in to support us.
“Customers will definitely notice a positive difference to their experience in store thanks to this investment and we’re looking forward to continuing to serve the Richmond community.”
The refurbishment involved a complete transformation of the store, including a new office area and a redesigned customer floor with dedicated zones for contact lens consultations and dispensing services.
The upgraded layout is designed to improve accessibility, offering additional desk space for customers with mobility needs.

Earlier this year, the store also introduced an Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) machine to enhance its diagnostic services.
While not part of the recent refit, the OCT machine reflects Specsavers Richmond’s broader commitment to investing in advanced technology for patient care.
The addition supports the team’s ongoing mission to provide the highest standard of eye health services to the community.
Appointments can be booked online or by calling the store.
