The upgraded site now features a full four-grade fuel range including JET ULTRA Premium Fuels, as well as four 150kW ultra-fast electric vehicle chargers.

These provide pay-as-you-go charging for drivers.

Peter Dodding, sales director and chair of the Northern Guild of SPAR Retailers at James Hall & Co. Ltd, said: “The expanded SPAR store creates the opportunity to introduce hot food-to-go at Wheatley Hill for the first time, including Daily Deli, expanding the convenience offer available to customers in the local area.”

The site is open 24 hours a day and also features a free-to-use ATM, air and water facilities, and a jet wash.
