New tenant secured for Northumberland pub and campsite
The Boe Rigg, a wellβestablished pub, restaurant, and campsite located in Charlton, Northumberland, has been let to a new tenant, specialist business property adviser Christie & Co announced.
The Boe Rigg is widely regarded as a destination venue for locals and tourists. The site comprises a cosy pub, a 60βcover restaurant, extensive licensed camping facilities, two enβsuite letting rooms, and a firstβfloor studio flat.
Its proximity to Kielder Water & Forest Park and Northumberland National Park attracts visitors year-round, and upon coming to market, the property received a high level of interest from prospective operators.
The lease for the site has been acquired by a new operator, following a sale process with Marslie McGregor, senior business agent at Christie & Co.
Marslie McGregor said: βThe response to The Boe Rigg was phenomenal from the moment we launched it on the market.
“The high level of interest, viewings, and multiple offers demonstrates the continued strength of the hospitality market in rural Northumberland. We are delighted to have secured a new operator for this fantastic site and look forward to seeing the next chapter for The Boe Rigg.β
