New Firthmoor Café to open in Darlington next month

The new Firthmoor Café, at Firthmoor Community Centre, announced on social media on Tuesday, that it will open at 9am on Monday, February 9.

On a Facebook post, the community centre said: “We are delighted to announce that the New Firthmoor Café will open early next month with a fantastic new menu.

“Please come along and support your community café.”

While details of the new menu are currently being kept under wraps, the café has teased that the new menu will be revealed closer to the opening date.

The community centre is owned by Firthmoor and District Community Association, Darlington’s largest community charity, which is run entirely by volunteers.

The centre provides a wide range of services, events and activities for residents throughout the year, including community events, trips and training opportunities.

It also provides a safe and welcoming hub for people of all ages.

The community centre is located at 56 Burnside Road, Darlington, DL1 4SU.
