Hansom Restaurant in Bedale was named number one in Giles Coren’s Top 10 Restaurants of the Year, as published in The Times, marking a landmark moment for the North Yorkshire dining scene.

The accolade places Hansom at the very top of a list compiled by one of Britain’s most influential food critics and confirms the restaurant’s rapid rise since opening less than two years ago.
