Durham City Rugby Club to host the city’s 43rd beer festival

The annual Durham Beer Festival returns for the 43rd time over four days later this month.

As with the previous five festivals, it will be staged at Durham City Rugby Club’s Hollow Drift clubhouse, on Green Lane.

It is the blue riband event in the calendar of organisers, the Durham branch of the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA).

But from Thursday (August 28) to Saturday (August 30) it will run from 12-noon to 10.30pm.
