Christmas programme revealed at Tan Hill Inn pub

The Tan Hill Inn, located more than 1,700 feet above sea level. near Richmond, is hosting its annual festive celebrations every Saturday and Sunday from November 29 to December 23.

The experience includes a roast turkey banquet, a visit to Santa’s Grotto, and the chance to meet Santa’s owls.

Andrew Hields, owner of the Tan Hill Inn, said: “We know from previous years how popular our Christmas Grotto is and we don’t want anyone to be disappointed.

“There can’t be a more magical setting to get into the festive spirit and we look forward to welcoming everyone to enjoy a really fantastic Christmas experience at our unique pub.”

Now in its seventh year, the Christmas event has grown in popularity and is designed to offer a ‘family-friendly festive outing’ in a scenic setting.

Guests will be given an allocated table to enjoy their meal in the decorated pub, complete with Christmas crackers.

Children will be able to visit Santa’s Grotto.

Each child ticket includes a gift, a colouring activity pack, the owl experience, and the opportunity to post their letter to Santa’s in the Santa’s Owl Post Box.

The pub’s mascot, Tan Ted, will also be on hand.

Tickets are priced at £21.95 plus booking fee for children aged 12 and under, which includes a gift, and £23.95 plus booking fee for those aged 12 and over.

Tickets for babies under one year old cost £5 and includes a gift for the child.
