Chris Kamara enjoys parmo with Ben Shephard in Middlesbrough
Kamara was snapped with the classic Teesside dish ahead of a live show at Middlesbrough Town Hall on February 15.
He was joined by friend and broadcaster Ben Shephard as the duo kicked off their ‘Unbelievable Show’ tour.
Shephard, posing with a box of the Teesside delicacy and fork in hand, said the chicken and cheese treat was ‘delicious’ as the pair kicked off their tour together.
The Tipping Point host shared his thoughts about the meal in a post on X, calling the dish “delicious”.
He also praised the night overall, writing: “Well, that was blooming wonderful.
“First night of me and @chris_kammy tour started in Boro with a parmo (delicious!) and finished with a standing ovation!!!
“Get us.”

The parmo, a breaded cutlet topped with bΓ©chamel sauce and cheese, has become something of a celebrity rite of passage in Middlesbrough.
Other stars who have tried Manjarosβ take on the dish include Tyson Fury, Harry Redknapp, Charlotte Crosby and Johnny Vegas.
Kammy kept his message short and heartfelt, simply saying: “Oh what a night.
“Thank you Boro.”
The show, titled ‘Ben & Kammy’s Unbelievable Show!’ began at 8pm and featured laughter, stories, and reflections from their careers in football and television.
Their show at Middlesbrough Town Hall is part of a wider tour which will see them stop in Portsmouth, London and Manchester.
Ahead of its launch, the pair spoke about what audiences could expect.
In a joint statement, they said: “Weβve been through a lot together – on and off camera – and made some brilliant memories along the way, so it felt only natural to do a show like this.
“The showβs just us, having a look back, and bringing people into our world for the night.”
