Celebrate the season with festive dining at Middleton Hall

Bookings are now being taken for Christmas Day lunch in Middleton Hall’s elegant Restaurant, featuring traditional favourites with a refined twist. Alongside the classic turkey main course—locally sourced and served with all the trimmings—diners can choose from roast sirloin of beef, butter-roasted halibut, or a sweet potato, chestnut mushroom and cranberry vegan Wellington. Priced at £69 per person, the menu promises excellent value and guaranteed Christmas culinary delight.

On New Year’s Day, guests can welcome 2026 in style with a flavour-packed lunchtime menu served in the Restaurant. Highlights include a starter of roasted artichoke velouté with parmesan crumb and truffle oil, a main course of lemon sole filled with smoked seafood mousseline and champagne beurre blanc, and a dessert of coffee praline Paris Brest with chocolate soil and vanilla cream. At £27.50 per person, it offers exceptional fine dining at an accessible price.

Festive Afternoon Tea is available in both The Orangery Bistro and the Restaurant right up to Christmas, offering a selection of seasonal light bites served with tea, mulled wine or prosecco.

Younger visitors are also catered for with a special Breakfast with Santa event on Tuesday 23 December, from 9:30am to 11:30am, featuring breakfast, crafts and a visit from Santa himself.
