Ben Houchen: Send your questions to The Northern Echo

There are still places available for the Ask Me Anything question time, but in case you are unable to make it, The Northern Echo is inviting its readers to submit questions as well.

The event, the first of its kind, is to be chaired by the Echo’s Chris Lloyd, and although it is really about getting answers for the people present, he would be delighted to throw in some questions from readers.

So if there’s anything you want to know from the mayor, from the airport to buses to Teesworks, please email a succinct question to echo@nne.co.uk, and we’ll do our best to get an answer.

The questions are being posed for 90 minutes on Wednesday, July 23, from 7pm, at the Yarm School Princess Alexandra Auditorium. Tickets are free, but because space is limited they do need to be booked here via Eventbrite.co.uk .

Mr Houchen is to do two question times a year at venues across the Tees Valley, and they are to be a live version of his regular BBC Tees slot which is called Ask Me Anything. There will be no advance notice of the questions.

The event brings Tees Valley Combined Authority in line with several other Combined Authorities which hold similar question times, including Greater Manchester, West Yorkshire and West Midlands.
