Ben Houchen at Echo’s Impact event on green revolution
The breakfast networking event will be held at the Teesworks Skills Academy on Dorman Point Way from 9.30 on Monday February 2 – to reserve your seat, just click HERE.
After networking over a light breakfast the mayor will take questions about the regionβs green energy plans, from Net Zero Teesside to SeAH and nuclear power.
A team of leading North East businesses will then form a panel to talk about how green energy will impact the whole region and what we have to do to make sure these gamechangers grow.
That panel will be drawn from the partners The Northern Echo works with on the Impact campaign – bp, believe housing, Cummins, Durham County Council, North East Chamber of Commerce, North East Combined Authority, Teesside International Airport and Tees Valley Combined Authority.
The Impact campaign led by The Northern Echoβs business arm, BUSINESSiQ, was launched to facilitate these vital conversations shaping the future of the North East β bringing together the people, ideas and partnerships driving long-term change.
The North East is fast becoming a national hub for green innovation, so this session will explore how collaboration across industry, education and the public sector can accelerate investment, close skills gaps and secure the regionβs position at the forefront of a national green transition.
Whether you work within energy, manufacturing, construction, education or supply chain services β or simply want to understand where the next wave of opportunity is emerging β this is your opportunity to join the conversation, with time built in to connect and build valuable new relationships.
