Beloved Mr Chippy in Darlington moved to new management

After two years of serving the local community, the current owners have made the ‘difficult’ decision to step away from the business due to personal reasons. 

In a heartfelt message, a month ago the previous owner Michelle Preston expressed her gratitude for the support they have received throughout their time running the popular shop.

“We wish you all well now and in the future, and we would like you to welcome the new owners, who have lots of experience in this kind of business, and please support them in there new venture.” 

Mr Chippy has been a staple in Darlington, and many customers have flooded the comments sending their thoughts and love to the previous owner.

This fish and chip shop is even the favourite of the Echo’s Chris Lloyd.
