Stanley to host street food markets starting in April

Baccanalia announced the new street food events in Stanley, inspired by last yearโ€™s successful Halloween market.

The markets, featuring food stalls and local businesses, will be held every other month on the second Friday, starting April 11.

The organisers aim to create a lively, social atmosphere, with family-friendly entertainment.

Michael Webstell, Baccanaliaโ€™s event producer, said: “We are committed to supporting local towns by driving footfall and rejuvenating high streets.

“Local businesses are the lifeblood of communities, and we want them to be part of these exciting events.

“We hope the community supports us in celebrating Stanley as a go-to destination.”

The event is backed by Karbon Homes, who align with Baccanaliaโ€™s vision for community celebration.

A Karbon Homes spokesperson said: “At Karbon Homes, we want to make a positive difference in the towns and villages where our customers live, including Stanley, and help create strong, sustainable places for our communities.
