Yorkshire Choice Awards finalists and winners revealed


Winners and finalists from across North Yorkshire were celebrated at the event for their entrepreneurial spirit, courage, and community contribution.

York-based business EmAble took home the New Starter Business of the Year award, while Kirkby Malzeard’s Lucie Maguire received the Rob Burrow Outstanding Courage Award.

Other finalists included Kitchen & Koffee from Harrogate, Phil Harris of Harrogate, Michael Kiddle of Thirsk, Harrogate’s Vicky Robaya, Moneyweb from Scarborough, and Louise Prashad from York.

Joanne Matby and Melanie Malcolm, co-founders of the Yorkshire Choice Awards, said: “North Yorkshire’s winners and finalists should feel incredibly proud.

The Yorkshire Choice Awards celebrate the people, businesses and organisations who make Yorkshire extraordinary.

This year’s recognition reflects a region full of heart, ideas and determination, where local people are making a genuine impact in their industries and communities.

The awards continue to shine a light on those who inspire others, champion good causes, build businesses with purpose and show what can be achieved through passion and perseverance.
