The Northern Echo ‘Best Barber Shop 2026’ nominations open

Readers can now nominate their favourite barber shop in Darlington and County Durham via an online voting platform.  

Nominations are now open and you can vote here.

Online nominations will run between Monday, June 8, and Sunday, June 14, with the ten finalists being revealed on Monday, June 15.

Readers will then be able to vote for their ‘Best Barber Shop 2026’ by picking up copies of The Northern Echo between June 22 and July 4.

And we will be featuring all of the top ten nominated barbers in copies of The Northern Echo between those dates.

The winner will then be announced soon after.
