All bookings cancelled as major UK travel company enters liquidation

The agency specialised in flight‑and‑hotel packages to destinations across Europe, South East Asia and the Middle East, including Italy, Bali, Thailand, Dubai and Saudi Arabia, with a significant focus on Hajj and Umrah pilgrimage trips.

Regen Central Ltd was a UK travel agency founded in Hertfordshire in 2009, which later relocated its registered office to London and traded under brands including Regen Travels, One Haji and Umrah, and Oneworld Travels.

The company lost its Air Travel Organiser’s Licence (ATOL 11020) on January 13 2026, and has since entered liquidation and ceased trading, with all future trips cancelled.

A spokesman for the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) said: “We understand the company had no outstanding ATOL-protected bookings. Bookings sold as accommodation only, non- flight packages, and flight only bookings for which tickets were issued are not protected by the ATOL scheme. As there are no outstanding ATOL-protected bookings, no refunds will be issued.”

The Civil Aviation Authority has confirmed that any refunds for ATOL‑protected bookings must be pursued through its claims process, and that many bookings, such as accommodation‑only, non‑flight packages or ticketed flight‑only deals, may not be covered by the ATOL scheme.

This means some of Regen Central Ltd’s customers may be left with no financial recourse.

The spokesman said: “If you believe you are owed a refund for an ATOL-protected booking, under Regen Central Ltd’s ATOL, please contact us via email at claims@caa.co.uk.”

Earlier today, we reported that a major UK clothing chain has shut all of its shops after entering administration, meaning it has now disappeared from the high street.

The Original Factory Shop (TOFS) had 137 stores before entering administration earlier this year.

Since then, it began shutting locations across the country in recent weeks, with sales launched at every outlet.

Now, the last TOFS locations have officially shut, with the retailer’s head offices also ceasing operations.
