Mount Vale Care Home in Northallerton receives five stars
Mount Vale Care Home in Northallerton was given five stars by the Food Standards Agency.
The inspection was carried out on January 7, 2025, with the care home achieving the top rating and having ‘nothing to improve upon’.
The report highlighted Mount Vale’s ‘very good standard of cleanliness’ and well-maintained documentation.
Trudi Gillespie, general manager of the care home, said: “We are delighted that Mount Vale was rated five stars following the Food Standard Agencyβs most recent inspection.
“The team at Mount Vale works so hard to ensure the home has the very best hygiene levels, so it is wonderful to have everyoneβs hard work recognised.”
The care home is owned by Barchester Healthcare.
It provides a range of care for 62 residents, including those who require residential, nursing, or dementia care, from respite care to long-term stays.
The care home says its ‘varied life enrichment programme’ is also on offer to keep residents active, providing a daily choice of engaging physical, mental, and spiritual activities tailored to residentsβ interests and abilities.
