Si King teases ‘something special’ filming with Hairy Bikers crew
The announcement comes after a break from filming following the death of his friend and long-time Hairy Bikers partner Dave Myers in February 2024.
Si shared the news with fans in a TikTok video.
Addressing the camera, he said: “Hello everybody.Β Weβre letting you in on something a little bit special.
“Weβve started filming, and I canβt really tell you what for just yet.”
He turned the camera to reveal the filming crew in front of him, hinting that this new project will be with familiar company.
The chef said: “This is the team that filmed all The Hairy Bikers stuff that Dave and I went around the world with, all those many, many times β five and a half, to be precise.
“These are people we know and love very well.”

Fans were quick to share their excitement in the comments.
One wrote: “Sounds great Si, look forward to seeing the outcome.”
Another asked: “Did I happen to see you and your crew in Heaton today?” to which the chef responded with a side-eye emoji, hinting it was likely.
Si has spent much of his recent time focusing on his restaurant, Propa, which opened in December 2024 at Sheepfold Stables, near Sunderland’s Stadium of Light.
The grab-and-go venue has proven popular with diners, serving pies at the heart of its menu.
Dishes include Panackelty and Flat Rib Broth with a stottie, alongside their signature pies, which are sold with mash and gravy for Β£12 each.
