Px Group move to new headquarters on Teesside
Px Group, based on Teesside, has relocated to Boaz House, the former Barclaycard site on Teesdale Business Park, taking more than 30,000 sq ft of flexible office space.
The move marks a 114 per cent increase in floorspace compared to its previous site.
Carolyn McKay, senior associate at Muckle LLP, said: “Like Muckle, px has been active in Teesside for many years, and it was a pleasure to support such a strong regional business on this significant milestone.
“The office move both strengthens pxβs future and reinforces the regionβs industrial growth.
“We are looking forward to seeing px thrive and continue to grow.”
Muckle LLP supported Px Group in negotiating the lease on the new space, which is secured for 10 years.
The company’s decision to remain in Teesside is a demonstration of its commitment to the area and its workforce.
Dan Weatherill, chief legal officer at px Group, said: “The team at Muckle provided us with straightforward and knowledgeable advice, often to very tight deadlines.
“Working with Muckle seemed the obvious choice β the firm shares our values and understanding of the Tees Valley region β and we would not hesitate to work with them again.”
Px Group, operating for more than 25 years, provides management solutions across the energy sector with a focus on electricity and gas.
The company also operates and maintains some of the UKβs largest industrial facilities.
In the past financial year, Px Group secured several major contracts and recorded an 11 per cent increase in turnover.
The business has expanded internationally and announced plans to grow its presence in the United States.
Px Group was incorporated in Stockton in 2002 and has operated out of the region since then.
The larger office space in Teesside supports its expanding team and future growth plans.
Muckleβs real estate team supported Px Group with the lease negotiations and related site development agreements.
The wider Muckle team has previously advised Px Group on major corporate transactions.
Muckle has significantly expanded its presence in the region over the last year.
The new headquarters will support Px Groupβs expanding operations and reinforce its long-term commitment to Teessideβs industrial future.
