New Kayden Rose Bridal Boutique to open in Darlington
Kayden Rose Bridal, located on Post House Wynd, will host its highly anticipated launch event from 12pm to 3pm on Sunday (February 22), after months of renovation work.
Owner and designer Rebecca Yoxall, 34, from Billingham, said the opening marks the end of a lengthy journey transforming the former the unit into what she describes as a βone-of-a-kindβ bridal boutique.

The boutique was originally due to open in January, but following delays and a few setbacks, Rebecca wanted to make sure every detail was perfect before opening.
She said: βItβs been very, very hard work getting the shop to this point of opening, but it has been so rewarding.
βWhen you look at how it was before compared to now, itβs completely unrecognisable. I didnβt want to open the doors until everything was exactly how I wanted it to be.β
Inside, the shop features two built-in catwalks, a bar area and 12 metres of bespoke wardrobes filled with dresses designed by top designers from America, Canada and all over the world, including Elysee, Etoile, Calla Blanche and Nieve couture, to name a few.Β

Decked out with a chandelier and a floral back drop for photographs, there is also a dedicated bridal lounge for family and friends to enjoy a glass of prosecco during the fitting.
She said: βWeβve really gone all out. The vision I had of making it an American style βyes to the dressβ has completely come to life. It looks incredible.β
Sundayβs launch will give visitors the chance to explore the new store while enjoying prosecco, cakes and live music from a saxophonist.
Models will also be walking up and down the newly installed catwalk wearing a selection of their gowns, giving guests the chance to see the dresses brought to life.

She added: βIf someone wants to see a certain dress on, we can have a model try it on so they can see it properly rather than just on a hanger. Itβs about letting everyone experience what weβre all about.β
About 40 people have already secured free tickets for the event, with ticketholders receiving a gift bag filled with special offers, including discounts on accessories for their first appointment.
Rebecca said walk-ins are welcome, although gift bags are limited on a first-come, first-served basis.

The owner said the new boutique aims to offer something different from traditional bridal shops, creating βunforgettable momentsβ for brides to find their dream dress.
She said: βBrides who say βyesβ will receive an antique-style key engraved with the word βloveβ, where they can write their wedding date and chosen gown before hanging it on a feature wall.
βThey can later collect the key when picking up their dress and get a photograph take in front of a floral backdrop, which will also be printed and gifted as a keepsake.
βMy ultimate goal for the shop is to be the best bridal boutique in the whole of the North East – the best boutique with the best experience. The ultimate bridal shop.
βWe canβt wait to welcome everyone in and bring something completely different to Darlington.β
You can find the new bridal boutique at Post House Wynd, Darlington, with the launching starting from 12-3pm on Sunday, February 22.
