Cracking Crumbles on sale at Durham’s Outdoor Market this week

Cracking Crumbles, known for their mobile crumble services in the North East, will be joining the Durham Outdoor Market for the first time this Saturday (February 7), serving up a range of homemade crumbles and custard from 9am.

The menu includes a selection of classic and seasonal flavours, including plain apple, apple and cinnamon, mixed berries, rhubarb, rhubarb and ginger, and banoffee.

Customers will also be able to enjoy their crumble served with creamy custard.

A spokesperson for Cracking Crumbles said: “Excited to be making our Durham Market debut this Saturday!

“Starting from 9am, come along and try out our homemade crumble and custard with a variety of different fillings and toppings. We can’t wait to see you all.”

Taking to social media, Durham Market organisers said they are already “counting down the hours” until they can try the latest addition and are expecting the stall to be a popular stop.

They said: “What better way is there to warm yourself up on a cold, grey day than one of these irresistible crumbles?”
