M&S launches new Colin the Caterpillar cake after 35 years
For the first time since the irresistible sweet treat brand was created 35 years ago, including the famous original birthday cake, the retail giant has finally introduced a gluten-free Colin the Caterpillar cake.
The long-awaited announcement comes as M&S revealed a gluten-free Colin the Caterpillar cake was the βmost requested product on social mediaβ and now customers have said βitβs the best news everβ.

The Made Without Wheat Gluten Free Colin the Caterpillar βdoesnβt compromise on flavour, fun or chocolatey goodnessβ and of course includes Colinβs staple (and moreish) white chocolate face.
Those who are gluten intolerant and have been diagnosed with celiac disease can also expect βan extremely chocolatey rolled sponge filled with smooth chocolate buttercream, coated in milk chocolateβ.
On its website, M&S shared: βMade Without Wheat Gluten Free Colin the Caterpillar is every bit as iconic as youβd hope.
βWeβre proud to introduce a gluten-free Colin that doesnβt compromise on flavour, fun or chocolatey goodness.
βExpect an extremely chocolatey rolled sponge filled with smooth chocolate buttercream, coated in milk chocolate and finished with Colinβs signature white chocolate face and sugar-coated beans.

Earlier this week, M&S teased the arrival of a gluten-free Colin the Caterpillar cake online which sent shoppers into a frenzy on social media.
