Black Horse Beamish named finalist in national awards
The Black Horse Beamish, based in County Durham, has been named a finalist in the Guides for Brides Customer Service Awards 2026, which recognise outstanding customer experience within the UK wedding industry.
The awards are organised by Guides for Brides, a leading UK wedding directory and planning platform that supports couples with expert advice and trusted recommendations.
Nikita Thorne, head of strategy at Guides for Brides, said: “Exceptional customer experience has never mattered more.
“In today’s market, couples are more informed, more selective and expect transparency, care and consistency at every touchpoint.
“These awards recognise the businesses that donβt just meet those expectations, but actively raise the bar for the entire industry.
“Every shortlisted business and finalist should feel genuinely proud of the standard they represent.”
Cristina De Giorgi, CEO of the Black Horse Beamish, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to be named a finalist in the Guides for Brides Customer Service Awards.
“This honour belongs to the whole Black Horse Beamish family β from our housekeepers and kitchen brigade, to our front-of-house, maintenance and gardening teams, and our dedicated weddings and events specialists.
“Every single person pulls together with genuine care and heart to ensure each wedding is a true reflection of the couple and how they want their day to be.
“Our beautiful Orchard Marquee has become a much-loved setting for unforgettable celebrations, and to be recognised nationally for the experiences we create there and across the venue is a real privilege.
“This reflects the passion, pride and dedication of our entire team.”
The Customer Service Awards, now in their tenth year, provide national recognition for wedding businesses, based on the quality and quantity of reviews left on guidesforbrides.co.uk.
A panel of expert industry judges will now independently review the finalists and select the winners.
The winners will be announced at a black-tie ceremony on March 18 at Oxford Town Hall.
