Finalists revealed for top ten gyms in Darlington and County Durham

For one of our first Best Of 2026 competitions, we have turned our attention to fitness, asking readers to nominate the very best gyms in Darlington and County Durham, and once again, the response was overwhelming.

Whether you’re a dedicated gym-goer who’s been training at the same place for years and wanted to give your gym some well-deserved recognition, or you’re looking for inspiration to kick-start a healthier lifestyle, our readers were keen to shout about the gyms that keep them motivated.

From strength training and personal coaching to supportive fitness communities, these gyms stood out from the crowd.
